Why Telehealth:
- Don’t want others to know you are receiving counseling
- Limited mobility (i.e. Post-surgery)
- Fear of face to face encounters with people
- Prefer technology
- Less cost as you may save money in gas, travel time, work loss time, child or elder care.
- Co-parenting situations in which a parent who is in another city could be part of sessions that are held in the office.
- Schedule changes
First visit may need to be Face to Face to determine if you are a good fit for Telehealth Counseling. You may bring a support person with you if necessary.
Each of the clinicians at River Counseling are licensed in the State of MN. As long as you are in the State of MN when you receive your Telehealth service you are protected.
